कोंडली सीवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट की स्थिति बेहतर

कोंडली स्थित 45MGD का सीवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट पिछले कई सालों से स्थानीय निवासियों के लिए परेशानी का कारण बना हुआ था। वहाँ से आने वाली बदबू व वायु प्रदूषण था। स्थानीय निवासियों व आर. डब्लू ए. पदाधिकारियो ने हस्ताक्षरित पत्र द्वारा स्थानीय सांसद को हस्तक्षेप हेतु निवेदन किया।
भाजपा राष्ट्रीय मंत्री व पूर्वी दिल्ली से सांसद महेश गिरी ने बताया कि पहले इस सीवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट को वर्ष 2013 में आरम्भ किया गया था। पर सही प्रकार से रखरखाव व व्यवस्थित न होने के कारण आसपास के लगभग 3000 परिवार इससे प्रभावित हो रहे थे। इस विषय को उन्होंने गंभीरता ले लिया गया व तुरंत दिल्ली जल बोर्ड के अधिकारियों के साथ कई बैठके की गई। सांसद ने प्लांट में रोज कीचड़ उठाने ओर अधिक मात्रा में पेड़ लगाने के साथ साथ अन्य तरह से भी बदबू व प्रदूषण पर रोक लगाने की योजना बनाने का निवेदन अधिकारियों से किया। दिल्ली जल बोर्ड के कार्यकारी अधिकारी ने सीवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट के लिए संबंधित अधिकारियों को इसके हेतु तुरंत कारवाही करने के निर्देश दिए।
सांसद महेश गिरी ने बताया कि अब इस सीवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट की स्थिति पहले से कही अधिक बेहतर है। काफी हद तक इससे निकलने वाली बदबू व प्रदूषण पर नियंत्रण पा लिया गया है व आगे भी इसके लिए कार्य किया जा रहा है।
महेश गिरी ने कहा कि इस प्लांट में पिछले 6 माह से हज़ारो पेड़ पौधे लगाए गए है जिससे बदबू को नियंत्रित किया जा सके। आधुनिक मशीनों से अब प्लांट में नियमित ग्रिड की सफाई की जा रही है। स्लज हैंडलिंग जोन को काफी सुधार किया गया है व टाइल्स लगाई जा चुकी है। सांसद ने अब वह बदबू रोकने की आधुनिक मशीनों को लगाने की भी मांग की है।
सांसद ने इस सीवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट की वर्तमान स्थिति की लिए जल बोर्ड अधिकारियों को धन्यबाद दिया है व कहा कि में आशा करता हूं कि जल्द ही इससे निकलने वाली बदबू व प्रदूषण पर पूरी तरह से नियंत्रण कर लिया जाएगा जिससे स्थानीय निवासियों को सुंदर वातावरण उपलब्ध हो सकेगा।

The Kondli Sewage Treatment Plant was generating amount of bad odour and pollution for the local residents. The residents requested the Member of Parliament for his intervention in the matter.
BJP’s National Secretary and Member of Parliament, East Delhi, Maheish Girri said that the Sewage Treatment Plant was started its operation in 2013. Due to lack of maintenance and faulty operations of the sewage plant the foul odour was leaking and affecting the health of thousands of people. The moment this issue brought into notice of the MP, he took cognizance of the problem on war footing and held a number of meetings with Delhi Jal Board CEO. In these meetings, the MP requested the officials to take urgent steps to remove sludge on daily basis, plant more trees and take required steps to quell bad odour and stop pollution. The Jal Board officials gave directions to work on the suggestions of the honourable MP immediately.
The MP informed that the situation of the Sewage Treatment Plant today has improved a lot. To a great extent the bad odour has significantly reduced and pollution has been controlled. Further long term steps are also being taken to address this important issue.
Maheish Girri said, in last six months thousands of trees have been planted, which has controlled pollution to large extent. On daily basis, cleanliness is being maintained with latest and modern machines. The sludge handling zone has improved and tiles have been fitted. The MP has now demanded the use of modern machines for quelling bad odour.
The MP thanked the officials for the present improved situation of Sewage Treatment Plant and hoped that the bad odour would be quelled completely and pollution would be controlled totally very soon so that the local residents would get the beautiful environment.
