फिल्मकार अनुराग कश्यप की खेल एवं खिलाड़ी पर आधारित फिल्म ‘मुक्काबाज’ की टीम ने यहां होटल ललित में रिलीज से पहले अपनी फिल्म का जमकर फिल्म का प्रमोशन किया। फिल्म के प्रमोशन के दौरान न केवल अनुराग कश्यप, बल्कि फिल्म के एक्टर विनीत कुमार, रविकिशन एवं इसमें लीड रोल निभा रही जोया हुसैन भी मौजूद थे।
मीडिया के साथ बातचीत करते हुए अनुराग कश्यप ने अपनी आगामी फिल्म के बारे में बहुत कुछ साझा किया और इस दौरान अपनी फिल्म को लेकर वह बेहद उत्साहित भी दिखे। उन्होंने कहा, “हमें केवल खेलों की ही सराहना नहीं करनी चाहिए, बल्कि खेल के प्रति खिलाड़ियों की संघर्षपूर्ण यात्रा पर भी ध्यान केंद्रित करना चाहिए। ‘मुक्काबाज़’ इसी थीम को लेकर बनी फिल्म है, जो प्रत्येक बॉक्सर को उसकी एक व्यक्तिगत फिल्म महसूस होगी। इस फिल्म में आपको वास्तविक मुक्केबाज़ मिलेगा, कोई कोरियोग्राफर या एक्शन नहीं होगा, क्योंकि यह एक ऐसी कहानी है, जिसमें हम मुक्केबाजों के बारे में बताना चाहते हैं। यह एक वास्तविक फिल्म है, जो इस देश के हर मुक्केबाज के जीवन का जीवंत प्रदर्शन करेगा। ‘मुक्काबाज़’ कोई गैर सरकारी संगठन या चैरिटी द्वारा निर्मित फिल्म नहीं है।”
दूसरी ओर अभिनेता विनीत ने कहा, “यह फिल्म भावनाओं से लैस है। यह हर एक खिलाड़ी के लिए एक सपना है, जो मेरे लिए सच हुआ। मुझे इस परियोजना का हिस्सा बनने पर बेहद गर्व है और इसके लिए मैं वास्तव में अनुराग सर का शुक्रगुजार हूं। अनुराग सर को वास्तव में फिल्म के लिए बॉक्सिंग चैंपियन विजेंदर सिंह जैसा कलाकार चाहिए था। उस किरदार को सही साबित करने के लिए मैं पंजाब च गया और वहां अपना प्रशिक्षण लिया। यह वास्तव में एक अद्भुत अनुभव था। वाकई में ‘मुक्काबाज़’ पूरी तरह से एक नेचुरल फिल्म है, लेकिन इसमें खेल को लेकर सियासत पर की कहानी भी है।
जहां तक फिल्म की कहानी की बात है, तो इसमें उत्तर प्रदेश में खेलों को लेकर सियासत का तानाबाना बुना गया है, इस तानेबाने में फिल्म के एक्टर विनीत फंसते हैं। फिल्म में विनीत पहलवान का किरदार निभा रहे हैं, जिसे ब्राह्मण लड़की से प्यार हो जाता है, लेकिन जैसे ही लड़की के चाचा (जिम्मी शेरगिल) को इस बात की खबर मिलती है, वैसे ही वह विनीत को बर्बाद करने की सोचता है। बता दें, फिल्म में जिम्मी राज्य मुक्केबाजी संघ के अध्यक्ष का रोल निभा रहे हैं और इस तरह वह अपनी पोजिशन का इस्तेमाल कर के विनीत के करियर को बर्बाद करने का तय करते हैं। फैंटम फिल्म्स और कलर येलो प्रोडक्शंस के बैनर के तहत निर्मित ‘मुक्काबाज़’ 12 जनवरी को रिलीज होगी।
The cast of ‘Mukkabaaz’ witnessed in Delhi along with director Anurag Kashyap!
‘Mukkabaaz’ an upcoming Indian sports drama film is near to its release, therefore, the entire team of the movie was witnessed in Nation’s Capital. The director of the movie, the man behind gritty drama flicks Anurag Kashyap was present in the promotional event along with Ravi Kishan, actor Vineet Kumar Singh and leading lady of the movie Zoya Hussain. The press conference was held in Hotel The Lalit, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi.
While interacting with media peeps they shared a lot about their upcoming movie, Anurag Kashyap in a very enthusiastic manner stated, “We should not only appreciate sports but the journey of sportsman also. Mukkabaaz evolves from this only. It’s a personal film for every boxer. You will find actual boxers, no choreographers or action. This is a story which we want to tell about the boxers. It’s a real movie, which will showcase the life of every boxer of this nation. Mukkabaaz is not an NGO or Charity Film.”
On the other hand the actor Vineet seemed motivated for the same, he said, “This movie came up with emotions. It is a dream which came true for me. I am really blessed to be a part of this project. Anurag Sir had words with Champion Vijender Sir, and then I moved to Punjab and started my training. It was really a wonderful experience. This is entirely a natural fim.” Whereas, Ravi Kishan as always stated himself and made people laugh by his charm.
Mukkabaaz also stars Jimmy Shergill, Shree Dhar Dubey, Neeraj Goyat, Deepak Tanwar in prominent roles. Well, it revolves around the drama set in Bareilly, Vineet plays a Kshatriya wrestler who falls in love with a deaf-mute Brahmin woman. This angers her uncle (Jimmy Sheirgill) who uses his position as the head of the state boxing federation to sabotage his career.
Featured under the banner of Phantom Films & Colour Yellow Productions, Mukkabaaz is scheduled to release theatrically on 12 January 2018.
