रक्षाबंधन
सर्वरोगोपशमनं सर्वाशुभविनाशनम् ।
सकृत्कृते नाब्दमेकं येन रक्षा कृता भवेत् ।।
इस पर्व पर धारण किया हुआ रक्षासूत्र सम्पूर्ण रोगों तथा अशुभ कार्यों का विनाशक है। इसे वर्ष में एक बार धारण करने से वर्षभर मनुष्य की रक्षा होती हैं। (भविष्य पुराण)
मनु स्मृति
भाई और बहन के लिए रक्षाबंधन एक महापर्व की तरह है। रक्षाबंधन भाई और बहन के प्यार का प्रतीक माना जाता है। इस दिन भाई अपनी बहन को प्यार के साथ-साथ कई तरह के उपहार भी देता है। मनु स्मृति में तीन ऐसी चीजों के बारे में बताया गया है, जो घर की महिलाओं को देने से घर में शांति और उन्नति बनी रहती है।
