Very Good Cut Flower Gaillardia Duo Mixed is a fully double mixture with a well rounded flower head. A single appears to have several tiny flowers which makes its appearance unique. These produce bold, brightly coloured flowers from summer through to early autumn. This low maintenance, hardy perennial is trouble-free and even copes well on poor, dry soils. Perfect for containers or filling gaps at the front of sunny borders. The plant is used as a diuretic, taken to give relief from painful urination. An infusion of the leaves is taken internally, and a poultice applied externally, in the treatment of gout. How to sow: Soil should be collected in a garden pot mixed with well rotten cow dung or manure. Broadcast the seeds over the soil bed and cover it with a thin layer of soil to allow germination. Maintain a distance of 1.5 feet between the plants. Irrigate immediately and then as per requirement keeping the soil moist. Flowering starts after 3-6 weeks post sowing which continues for 8-10 weeks, depending on the variety.

PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS
Blanketflower is grown from seeds. Sow seeds directly into your flower garden, or start seeds indoors, for transplanting later.
Sow seeds early in the spring season and cover lightly with 1/8″ of fine garden or potting soil.
Seeds can take up to 3 weeks to germinate.
Ideal plant spacing is 14″-16″.
Thin or transplant seedlings, if needed, when they reach 2″. They can tolerate a little crowding.

Instructions:–
If you are using ground water that is salty then do not add salty water because the seeds will not germinate in salty water.
Seeds are so small simply sprinkle the seeds on top of the soil, then gently press them down into the surface using your fingers or a small tamper. Keep the soil moist until the seeds germinate.
Open the packing of seeds on some paper because the seeds are very small.
