राजधानी दिल्ली में 25 अगस्त से 5 सितम्बर तक गणपति बप्पा मोरिया की गुंज से गुंजेगी। दिल्ली का महाराजा नाम से प्रसिद्ध लक्ष्मी नगर के 16वें गणेश महोत्सव एवं नेता जी सुभाश पैलेस की लाल बाग का राजा सहित दिल्ली मे अनेकों जगह गणेश महोत्सव की तैयारी जोरों पर है। दिल्ली की बाजार हो या कालोनिया हर जगह 25 अगस्त 2017 से शुरु हो रहे इस त्यौहार की तैयारियों में जोर शोर से लगे हुए हैं। श्री गणेश सेवा मंडल लक्ष्मी नगर द्वारा आयोजित दिल्ली के सबसे लोकप्रिय गणेश महोत्सव जो दिल्ली के महाराजा के रुप में प्रसिद्धि पा चुके हैं की तैयारियां भी उत्सव स्थल डीडीए, मिनी स्टेडियम, बैंक एन्कलेव लक्ष्मी नगर में जोरो पर है।
श्री गणेश सेवा मंडल के संस्थापक महेंद्र लड्डा ने बताया इस बार श्री गणेश सेवा मंडल लक्ष्मी नगर द्वारा आयोजित दिल्ली के सबसे लोकप्रिय गणेश महोत्सव जो दिल्ली के महाराजा के रुप में प्रसिद्धि पा चुके हैं कई मायने में खास होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारे प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी के स्वच्छ भारत अभियान के तहत “क्लीन यमुना-क्लीन इंडिया” थीम रखा गया है। इसी मकसद से दिल्ली मे यमुना को साफ रखने के लिए गणेश भगवान की मूर्ति को यमुना में विसर्जित नहीं किया जायेगा इसलिए मूर्ति को फाइबर से तैयार किया गया है। इसके साथ ही छोटे मूर्तियों को भी यमुना में विसर्जित करने के बजाय इसके लिए 4 बड़े पानी के टब तैयार किया जा रहा है जहां इन मूर्तियों को विसर्जित किया जाएगा।
श्री गणेश सेवा मंडल के प्रधान सचिन गुप्ता ने बताया कि “दिल्ली और एनसीआर में 50 से अधिक छोटे और बड़े संगठन हैं, जो इस समारोह को हमारे संगठन श्री गणेश सेवा मंडल, लक्ष्मी नगर, लाल बाग का राजा, नेताजी सुभाष पैलेस और महाराष्ट्र भवन, पहाड़गंज, दिल्ली में कुछ अन्य जगहों पर मनाते हैं जहां गणेश महोत्सव भी मयूर विहार, आनंद विहार, पश्चिम विहार ,नोएडा और गुड़गांव सहित कई अन्य स्थानों पर मनाया जाता है”। वहीं, श्री गणेश सेवा मंडल के संस्थापक महेंद्र लड्डा ने ने कहा कि मेरा इन सभी संगठनों से आग्रह है कि वे सब भी प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के स्वच्छ भारत अभियान में अपना-अपना योगदान दें और मूर्ति को यमुना में विसर्जित न करें ताकि यमुना भी स्वच्छ रहे।

If you think it’s only Maharashtra that vibrates with the fervour of Ganpati bappa moriya, the capital is all set to give it a dip and hence there are lots of preparations going on in the capital. Hundreds of workers are busy day and nights for making Stage, Pandals and Stalls of 16th Ganesh Mahotsav to welcome well known “Dilli Ka Maharaja”, one of the biggest Ganesh Mahotsav to be organized by Sri Ganesh Sewa Mandal at DDA Mini Stadium, Bank Enclave, Laxmi Nagar from 25th August to 5th September. President(Pradhan) of Shri Ganesh Seva Mandal, Shri Sachin Gupta said this year our 16th Ganesh mahotsav will be different from previous years. He said that this year, keeping in mind to save Yamuna River and Promote PM’s Swachchata Mission ,we will not immerse the idol of lord Ganesha in Yamuna even we are going to make four water tub for immersion of small Idol of Ganesha worship by nearby residents at their home ,so we appeal to all the devotees please do not immerse idol of Ganesha in Yamuna and come here with idol of ganesha and immerse lord Ganesha here at our Utsav Sthala at four huge water tub like a small ponds . Preparation of Thai base Rajasthani model pandal has started and it is in its final stage.
This festival is now getting celebrated in many Colonies and mostly in homes in Delhi ,not only by Marathi Family but also many north Indian family celebrate this Festival on large scale in Delhi and NCR. Founder Chairman of Shri Ganesh Seva Mandal, Shri Mahendra Ladda, who is celebrating 16th Ganesh Utsav 2017 at Laxmi Nagar in Delhi & from last 16 years said, “In Delhi and NCR there are more than 50 small and big organization who celebrate this Festival including our organization shri Ganesh Seva Mandal, Laxmi Nagar, Lal bagh ka Raja, Netaji Subhas Palace and Maharashtra Bhavan, Paharganj, some other places in Delhi where Ganesh mahotsava is also celebrated are Mayur Vihar, Anand Vihar, Paschim Vihar and many other places including Noida and gurgaon”.
According to Mahendra Ladda, our organization is different from other organization, while other organization including Maharashtra Sadan celebrates this festival totally in Marathi even they do their Pooja and Aarti in Marathi Language, our organization is the only one in Delhi who celebrate this festival in North Indian Language because Sri Ganesh Sewa Mandal keep in mind to entertain all types of society and groups in Delhi.
